Second, volunteers choose location in which they want to help. Each individual food bank area is shaded and clickable. Then, the user is directed to a list of current offers available in their chosen area. It ensures you that no volunteer will be linked to a non-existent, invalid, expired, or remote collection.

In the third step volunteers select an offer from the list of available positions in their selected area. The two remaining steps lead them smoothly to sending application. At this stage users can also choose on whose behalf they submit - their own, a group, or a shop. Before submission, users can view detailed description of the offer to make sure it fits their interest and purpose.

In the control panel, registered users (in this case: federation) can click various tabs to navigate around the system. Participants section allows them to add and edit food banks and partners. Later, additional information can be added to secure the coherence of data. All contact information is stored in one place and available to all users you choose to allow.

Since in every collection the flow of information should be uninterrupted, the notifications section allows you to submit any type of information and specify the recipients. Thus you can be sure that all notifications will reach people responsible for the collections. It has proven to be particularly useful when deadlines are approaching or in emergency situations because notifications are easy to find and read.

Downloads is one of the most useful sections as it helps save time and resources usually spent on sending dozens of emails (and later on trying to find attachments in old emails). Instead, all you have to do is upload a file (eg instructions, specifications, promo materials, collection results) and let it know to others so they can download it.

Needs for materials can be specified and viewed for each individual food bank, just as type of needs in the columns. Supervisor can accept or decline the request for needs. New needs are filtered against the already added ones.

All the shops added to the system can be searched and filtered in a number of ways. You can also export the results of your search to a CSV file. Every shop grouped in a network features contact information as well as assigned food bank and default partner.
